KLH UK case studies well received at Schools Seminar

KLH UK sponsored and presented two case studies at the Building Centre's seminar on 'Schools - Meeting the Brief with Wood' on the 23rd April.

The seminar focused on new developments in the use of wood in the UK's education building programme.

Karl Heinz presented case studies on Lauriston School in Hackney with Esther Everett, Associate at Meadowcroft Griffin Architects and Tim Marcot, Associate at Price & Myers; and the Open Academy in Norwich, with Simon Smith, UK Director of Buildings & Design at Ramboll UK.

The case studies highlighted the client's brief, the architects response and design concept, why KLH cross laminated timber was chosen and the technical approach to the project and on-site construction, and were incredibly well received by the delegates at the seminar.
