At KLH UK we offer a full pre-construction service from a guide price to a fully detailed and developed quotation. We’re also happy to provide early advice on feasibility, price and programme including, where necessary, swept path analysis and general logistics for deliveries and installation.

We offer a full design to manufacture service under various procurement routes. Working with client design teams under a design appointment or with Main Contractors under a Pre-Contract Services Agreement enabling early integration of our specialist CLT designers into the project design team. This early integration enables us to offer you our 15 years of CLT experience to help the team influence the design in order optimise the structure, ensure build-ability and identify any risks and opportunities. We are able to collaborate with the Project Architect, fire engineers and acousticians to ensure all aspects of the building structure are considered. This collaboration also extends to other Specialist Subcontractors such as the mechanical & electrical, the envelope provider to ensure that the design is fully co-ordinated. We utilise a number of software platforms and our designs are compliant to BIM protocols and deliverables.

A full design includes structural member and connection design along with Building Control calculations and information to enable the substructure design. Our Architectural Project Technicians provide fully co-ordinated, BIM compliant services through to final design approval and sign off. We then produce fabrication drawings for manufacture and site packs for our installation teams. O&M Manuals are issued with the completion of the Subcontract Works.

KLH UK provide a full installation service including sequenced deliveries, full crane lifting service, temporary works and leading edge protection. Our Site Teams work in collaboration with the Contractor’s site management to review and agree overall programme duration, sequence and any sectional handover milestones.
